What are MyRealTown's Terms and Conditions for new domain registrations? Print

  • 1

Once you click on the on the “Register My Domains” button on the order page, you understand and agree to the following: MyRealTown's will reserve your domain name with the official Registry and "park" that domain name on our servers until you are ready to activate your account.

Your reservation fee covers the initial period of exclusive licensing of your domain and needs to be renewed thereafter. Activating your account enables you to use your new domain name for e-mail and web pointing purposes - this requires that your domain name be "hosted" on a Domain Name Server (DNS) and pointed to your e-mailbox and web site location.

For information on our minimal annual hosting fees, contact Customer Service. Once your name is reserved in the Internic system, the reservation fee is NOT REFUNDABLE even if you change your mind. Please review your registration application and check for any MISSPELLINGS in the name you type in because that will be the name you will own.

You understand that even though the domain name you choose is accepted by the Internic Registry, it is subject to possible claims of copyright infringement by someone holding a prior federally registered trademark or copyright to that name. MyRealTown's makes no representations as to the legality of the name we register on your behalf.

In the event of a charge back by a credit card company on the domain purchase, you agree and acknowledge that the domain name registration shall be transferred to MyRealTown's and that we reserve all rights regarding such domain. We will reinstate your domain name registration solely at our discretion subject to our receipt of the initial registration or renewal fee and our then-current reinstatement fee, currently set at $100.
